Tips When Renting a Car in Orlando

If you are considering getting an Orlando car rental, be sure to book your car early. Reserving your rental car early can often save you money. Rates may depend on how many cars that the company has when the reservation is made. Make sure that you book your car a week in advance.
You will basically have two choices when it comes to gas. You can pay for a full tank of gas and then bring the car back empty or you can choose to refill the tank yourself before you bring the car back. Paying for the gas in advance may be more convenient. However, it can be a more costly option because you may actually end up paying for fuel that you never use. Paying for a full tank of gas upfront is not a cost effective solution unless you know that you are going to use the entire tank.
Think twice before upgrading to a larger vehicle. If you are considering rental cars in Orlando, keep in mind that some companies offer free upgrades to larger vehicles. They offer these upgrades for free because the smaller vehicles are in higher demand. If you actually need a larger vehicle, the free upgrade is great. However, if you can get by with a smaller car, it is typically cheaper to do so. You will pay more for gas if you rent the larger vehicle.
