New Home Presents

Gift BasketAs a real estate agent, I love when I have first time clients who get to purchase their dream home.  While everyone is happy to get a house that they love, there is just something special about the excitement shown by first time home owners. The whole process is new to them, and they usually feel freed by being able to buy their own place and are very happy to be putting money toward something that they own.

I always buy a gift of some kind for each of my clients once they purchase a home.  It’s a nice little surprise for them and it’s good for my business. Gift baskets are great for this, because I can give the home owner something that they need, a basket of goodies usually related to the house. I love giving first time buyers gift baskets and I always give them two: one for the home, usually with kitchen items in it, and another for their personal use.  Bath spa gift baskets are a great gift for first time home owners because they allow them to enjoy their brand new bathroom and also helps with all the stress associate with buying a home for the first time.

What a wonderful idea! Nothing says welcome home than a nice gift basket waiting on the counter of the kitchen or in the master bedroom. This is truly a fabulous touch - what’s your information? I want to buy my next home with you!

You are absolutely right, little things like this do make a big difference. Especially in this economy! I think people are so unsure about buying a home in this climate that any little bit of encouragement after they’ve sealed the deal is really considerate.

This must really be a ladies thing, because I don’t think a basket would mean much to me. The thought is really nice, to be sure, and my wife would like something like this. Now maybe if it was a free fridge full of beer…

Now this is a really interesting idea! Do you assemble the baskets yourself, or do you buy them premade? Where do you buy them? A really lovely touch for your clients, bravo!

Wow, not one, but two baskets? Lucky clients! What do you put in the personal basket, things for the man and woman or spa things primarily geared toward women? I think a couple’s basket would be a really nice touch, something to bring them closer in their new home.

Have you thought about other types of baskets besides the kitchen supplies basket? I think those edible bouquets would also make a great option, you know, as a way to have some healthy food in the house right off the bat. Set a good tone!

I think a good alternative to either of those baskets would be some kind of holiday themed basket to help them prep for the next holiday. Like an ornament basket if it is near Christmas, or some kind of Easter basket.
