Being ignorant about cash advance tools

How many times have you heard Hollywood success stories where the main character has financed his movie with the use of his credit cards? More than a few times, I assure you. What you never hear, however is the countless stories of those that tried taking this pathway to success and ended up without a penny, homeless and on the street because they had maxed out their credit with no way of paying it all back.
When seeking out fame and fortune, it is important to understand the right and wrong ways to do things. This doesn’t mean one should never take chances or go out on a limb. It does mean that everything should be thought out, and contingencies should be at hand.
One good tool to know about is use of the cash advance. By using advances, it can be possible to take advantage of opportunities today while still planning on making repayments in the near future.
It would only really take one giant success story of a film being financed or massive business success all due to a cash advance for that tool to become more accepted and more readily used. We often malign the things we do not understand. More often than not, though, it has to do with our ignorance rather than with our knowledge.

What is the difference between a cash advance and a credit card? I thought it was the credit card companies that offered the cash advances in the first place. Are the terms more favorable with a cash advance?

What do you mean by saying that it would take one giant success story for a tool to become more accepted? Aren’t cash advances already accepted and pretty well known? I guess I don’t really follow you.

The whole “cash advance” industry needs to do a better job at promoting their product, then. I have a little bit of financial savvy, and even I am not clear on the advantages of using an advance. All I ever see pushed are credit card checks.

Oh, I know. It’s so easy to use credit cards, though, when you are denied additional loans. Whether you put a car or a college education on a credit card, they really get you both coming and going. The world just makes it so difficult to get any other kind of loan!

Well, if I can’t get a college loan for my son any other way, I’m afraid I’ll have to use a credit card myself. I wish I would hear more about all of my other options, but you sort of have to dig a lot. Even a computer search only brings up the sites that have their sites placed the best–not necessarily the best sites.
