Well, if I can’t get a college loan for my son any other way, I’m afraid I’ll have to use a credit card myself. I wish I would hear more about all of my other options, but you sort of have to dig a lot. Even a computer search only brings up the sites that have their sites placed the best–not necessarily the best sites.

Oh, I know. It’s so easy to use credit cards, though, when you are denied additional loans. Whether you put a car or a college education on a credit card, they really get you both coming and going. The world just makes it so difficult to get any other kind of loan!

The whole “cash advance” industry needs to do a better job at promoting their product, then. I have a little bit of financial savvy, and even I am not clear on the advantages of using an advance. All I ever see pushed are credit card checks.

What do you mean by saying that it would take one giant success story for a tool to become more accepted? Aren’t cash advances already accepted and pretty well known? I guess I don’t really follow you.

What is the difference between a cash advance and a credit card? I thought it was the credit card companies that offered the cash advances in the first place. Are the terms more favorable with a cash advance?
