One of the biggest challenges that I have found since we have had children is that we have more people to buy presents for throughout the year.  Back when it was just my wife and I, it was a lot easier to come up with ideas, but now with the five of us, that is another story.

So, any gift purchase often involves quite a bit of brainstorming.  One of the challenges is to come up with ideas that are not just toys - we want to get them some useful stuff too.  In the past we have bought clothing, educational toys, and towels.  This year we wanted to do something different.

This year, we have decided to buy our children new bedding from Vision Bedding, an online retailer that offers unique bedding choices.  We have bought from them in the past when we bought photo blankets for the grandparents.

It looks like we are going to get some hockey bedding for our son, and something for our daughters (but we haven’t figured out what yet).  I know that they will be more excited about their toys that they get, but once they are parents, they will understand why we buy them bedding for presents each year.
